First to adopt Christianity as a nation in 301 AD
During World War I, Armenians (primarily in the Ottoman Empire lands) were hunted and killed (Armenian Genocide of 1915)
This is considered one of the most tragic and most current struggles of the Armenian people
People protest around the world on April 24th every year because the Turkish Government still fails to recognize the Armenian Genocide
The symbol of the Genocide is a purple Forget-Me-Not Flower with five petals
