Our last full day in Armenia was the wildest yet. I'll just sort of list it out because paragraphs aren't going to work here.

-We hailed a taxi to take us to Tzaghkadzor which has a ski lift that takes u up high to see the view

-The guy legitimately almost hit two pedestrians

-He drove at a speed that made me wonder if Armenia even HAD a speed limit

-He missed the resort exit off the freeway so he DROVE OVER THE FREEWAY DIVIDER to make a U-turn

-He didn't understand English and we didn't really know where the ski lift was/how to say ski lift in Armenian

-Asked a guy on the side of the road and he said "Marriot Hotel is where is"

-Guy dropped us of at a completely different hotel

-Hailed another taxi to the Marriot

-Driver was smoking IN the car while he drove at unknown speeds

-Woman at Marriot said the only lift in operation during the summer was a 2 km walk away

-Being fed up with taxis we decided to trek up to it.

-While walking, the ONLY PERSON in front of us was this man who picked up a roadkill squirrel from the middle of the road and carried it for basically a kilometer.

-I joked about not wanting to eat the meat here anymore....."are you SURE it's chicken??"

-We finally made it up the hill and onto the lift

-Of course, American pop music was playing while we ascended the green mountain, took in the beautifully blue sky filled with white clouds, and heard the birds singing all sorts of different songs.

-At the top we were struggling to order a sandwich in Armenian so the guy at the table next to us interrupts his phone call to yell "What you want??"

-We ordered without needing the man to get our point across, and then we headed down for the day.

-We traveled all the way to the History of Armenia Museum, only to find out it closes Mondays

-We went back to the hotel for a bit then went to the Cascade for a second time.

-Ran into people from our group and we all made dinner reservations.

-They suggested we quickly go to a Grand Candy because it's the most famous candy shop in Armenia.

-My dad and I literally RAN through the streets of Yerevan, wind blowing through our hair (well, MY hair)

-Ordered chocolate covered dried fruit then ran back

-First time drinking white wine

-It definitely tasted like bitter, old, grape juice. I guess alcohol just isn't my thing!

-We went out to a tea place afterwards and I drank a whole glass of iced vanilla tea

-Made it back to the hotel to pack so we could leave at 5:30

-Staying up al night to beat jet lag is harder than it seems.

-My phone pedometer said today was the day I walked the most steps since I got the phone,

-Now to conquer jetlag before our departure!
