MONASTERY OF GEGHARD- a medieval monastery carved completely out of solid rock. It sits in the Azat Valley where it is encompassed by cliffs made of rock. It was founded in the 4th century by Saint Gregory the Illuminator, but was later destroyed by the Arabs in the 9th century. It was rebuilt in the 13th century and stayed intact through present day. The area is said to be quiet and meditative - a place to reflect.

REPUBLIC SQUARE- Located in Yerevan and the hub of Armenian activities.

KHOR VIRAP- A holy pilgrimage place for the Armenian people because it was where Grigor was imprisioned for 13 years by King Tiridates III.

GARNI- One of the more popular tourist attractions in Armenia, Garni is a bathhouse with mosaics lining the walls built in a Greco-Roman style.
